Just a quick post from an awesome evening spent with Ben and Jill.
Katie and I had the chance to take a quick trip to Boston in November to photograph Ross and Lindy. They were excellent hosts and showed us a really great time. We had some incredible meals while we were there including my first ever hot lobster roll at a place called Neptune. Just amazing! How Ross managed a table at this place is a mystery.
We bounced around the Boston area shooting these two for the better part of the day. We also got to meet up with Boston area photographer Chad Hansen for a great breakfast. I appreciate the help with location scouting Chad!
Thanks again, Ross and Lindy for having us up. It was a blast!
What can I say about these two fine people... They love each other, they love coffee, they love outside. To say they're my kind of people would be an understatement. Can't wait for their wedding this March!
Winston Churchill once said that his most brilliant achievement was to persuade his wife to marry him. I'm sure most husbands can identify with that. In Colin's case, he started the persuasion process early. You've got to read the letter he wrote Mary back in grade school. Classic. These two are such genuine folks. It was an honor to document a relationship with so much history already. What a great day!

Kathleen was stunning with her simple and subtle colors from Kelly at Poppy Lane. Kathleen and I worked a lot of weddings together as she leant her skills to Gibson Events a couple years ago. She is one of a kind! I'll be posting more from her engagement shoot and wedding in the future, but I stumbled across these today and thought I'd share a few.
I had a great little trip up to Baltimore to see Tyler and Tiffeny a few months ago. Seems like I've been traveling non-stop since then, so I'm excited to finally have the time to share some of this year's work.
These two were a blast to photograph. We shot these portraits, then promptly stuffed ourselves with crab at a little pub in Fell's Point. I may start making that a routine for all my shoots. I'll be posting their wedding soon as well, so stay tuned!

As much as I enjoy shooting film, when the bus drivers doesn’t show up and you get stuck shooting portraits at dark:30 on a stormy evening it’s nice to be able to open up to 1.2 and crank the ISO and get this.
There is a right tool for every job.
